Love them or hate them, celebrity piercings are fun to follow. It can be interesting to see what a celeb is willing to try in order to stand out from the crowd. Although you may not want to run out and get a major amount of piercings, it can be fun to try a new one out. Don’t even worry about permanently marring your body. There are plenty of faux piercing options to try out for the less adventurous.

Nose Piercing

One of the most popular piercings for young starlets is the nose. A stud in the nose can be understated enough to not dramatically change a star’s appearance. They can also be removed easily. Both Demi Lovato and Jordin Sparks have been photographed with studs in their noses. For the more daring, a nose ring may be considered. Both Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus like to add edge to their style by wearing a nose ring on the red carpet from time to time.

Belly Button Piercing

The belly button piercing is a tried and true method of young stars to show off their toned tummies. A spike in belly button appearances seems to occur around the warmer months. Stars with belly button piercings include Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian.

Eyebrow Piercing

An eyebrow piercing is another type of body art sported by celebs. A few of the more popular celebs that have this type of body piercing include Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and Amy Lee from the band Evanescence.

If celebrity piercings don’t inspire you, you could always simply stick to piercing your ears. Multiple holes in each ear are another option. Just remember to follow the care instructions no matter where the piercing ends up. Otherwise, you could end up with an infection or unattractive scar. Be safe, edgy, and stylish!
