Two Ways: Homecoming Dress Up Or Down
Homecoming dress up time is right around the corner and we’re sure you have been scrambling to find the perfect dress. A sort of practice course for prom, homecoming allows you to be a little more fun, maybe a little shorter, or more casual.
But it definitely doesn’t mean you have to be serious or boring. In fact, you should have a little fun and style your homecoming dress up or down. Pick a look you want to imitate and go with it — just be sure your entire look flows. For instance, want to “bling” it up a bit with big earrings and bright shoes? Try your half hair down ala Rachel Bilson (as seen below in look 1). The softness of the hair will look killer with the boldness of your accessories. On the other hand, if you are using more classic and trendy accessories, like a great pair of suede Mary Janes or a vintage inspired purse, opt for a top knot ala Kim Kardashian. The look-at-me hair will stand out against your more reserved accessories (seen in look 2).
The beauty of dressing your homecoming dress up or down is that you create your personality for the night. Channel the style and the look you want, have fun and dance your heart out!
