Katie Holmes has a fashion style all her own. In fact, she even has her own fashion line created with stylist Jeanne Yang! This week was a big one for Holmes & Yang as they debuted their spring 2013 line at New York Fashion Week. According to their website “the designing duo was constantly looking for easy, timeless pieces that could carry them from day to night, casual to cocktail, work to weekend” ~ a goal every woman shares and the perfect way to copy the Katie Holmes style. They sought out high quality fabrics, worked to ensure their clothing fit a woman’s proportions, and paid special attention to small details to create one-of-a-kind items that will “find a permanent home in every chic woman’s closet“. Bucking the popular trend of offshore clothing manufacturing, all Holmes & Yang fashions are proudly made in the USA. Current styles can be found at swanky retailers such as Barney’s.

Being in the public eye can be both a wonder and a worry as Katie can attest to after her very public divorce from Tom Cruise this summer. While these sorts of trials can tarnish some stars, Holmes has emerged brighter than ever with her fashion line, a new contract to be the face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics, and fab publicity on hot mag covers around the world!

While her glam style and high-end Holmes & Yang designs may be a little out of reach for the mere mortal woman, everyday Katie Holmes style is very accessible.
