What To Wear To The Navy Ball 2012

As you hear in Anchor’s Away, the Navy is known for faith, courage, service true, with honor over all. This week we celebrate the faithful service of those in the Navy. Do your Navy man proud as his beautiful date for the annual Navy Ball 2012, celebrating the founding of the Navy on October 13, 1775.

While every Navy Ball incorporates the tradition, pomp, and circumstance of this national event they also reflect the community in which they serve. If the Navy Ball 2012 is your first military event, be sure to honor the dress code. Check with other wives and significant others and remember that this is also a work event for your Navy man. As with most work parties, modesty is something to keep in mind. This is a formal event but it need not break the bank. All dress styles here are less than $200 (shoes under $30 and purses under $25). This is a special night for you and your officer, or enlisted, gentleman. Not only will you be surrounded by men (& women) in uniform — always a treat — you are (virtually) required to wear something stunning!
