New York City Style

What comes to mind when you think New York City style? Is it high fashion? Glamorous designers? Chic styles? Trendsetting?  Yes, NYC has it ALL when it comes to what to wear!

In my mind, I can’t help but think of the Sex And The City ladies strolling arm in arm in their haute couture. Didn’t everyone pick the City gal who most closely matched her personal style? The one thing that all New York ladies claim is permission to set their own look. Fashion freedom is the key to success in NYC.  How often do you see Fashion Week designs and think… Really?  The answer is YES, really! Anyone can do ANYTHING in NYC and that thing is usually the very height of fashion.

You too can grab your inner glam goddess and step out in NYC-inspired style, no matter where you live. Start at the bottom and work your way up.  SHOES  - who can deny that they make a statement?  NYC shoes include lovely names that roll off the tongue (unlike the slightly less flattering NY accent… just sayin’) ~  Jimmy ChooChristian Louboutin, and Manolo Blahnik! Mmmmm… yes!  Check out the Manolos and more shown below at Marissa Collections.

Now that we have those settled, let’s work our way up. Try flirting with success in a darling dress or other Macy’s Impulse styles.

NYC is the town that never sleeps!  Nighclubs might be dark but everyone still dresses to shine. Be a stunner in any of these stylish night-out looks from Macy’s.
