Spring Makeup Looks

Every spring, it seems, people go crazy for the newest, hottest spring makeup looks. This spring it’s all about pink cheeks, bright lips, and light, pastel eyes. We’ve made shopping as easy as possible, and you can find everything you need to complete this look at Sephora.

Keep things sheer and light on the foundation front. Try a tinted moisturizer like Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 for light coverage and a healthy glow.

Speaking of a healthy glow, baby pink doll-like cheeks are all the rage for spring. Look for light pinks, bright peaches, or soft mauves. Try Stila’s Convertible Color in Fuchsia or Dior’s Rosy Glow Healthy Glow Awakening Blush.

Lips are also front and center in the hot spring makeup looks. Bloggers and makeup artists alike are all swooning over Nars Schiap, a bright pink perfect for the season and evidently, any skintone.

Eyes, on the other hand, should be kept pretty and light. Look for dusty pinks, lights blues, and pretty lilacs for your lids. Forgo too much contouring or using differing shades, because this season lids are simply being washed with one light color of your choice. Try Clinique’s Lid Smoothie in Cute-Cucumber, bareMinerals Eyecolor in Water Lily or Benefit’s Velvet Eyeshadow in Bo-Peep.

Just remember, keep your make-up light and bright this season. When in doubt, play up your lips with a bright color or your cheeks with a rosy glow. Throw on some mascara and you’re ready to enjoy the day and night!
